The first ANARE voyage of Nella Dan.
The new Danish vessel Nella Dan conducted the Davis and Mawson changeovers and
visited Wilkes and Macquarie Island on her first voyage in ANARE service. 
During the changeovers, new buildings were constructed at both stations. 
After the Mawson changeover an unsuccessful attempt was made to reach Amundsen
Bay.  Nella Dan remained beset for eight days, 69 km from her destination.
